Redecorating.... What Colour To Choose....??

Hello Again Friends
As you know I am starting  to work on my new project..
The Living Room Re-Decoration..
So Where Do I Start ...?

As I am so motivated by Colour...
I figured that would be a great starting point....
So you already know I want to have a French Inspired / Themed Renovation...
And the Interiors and Colours I keep coming back to over and over again....

Are Robin's Egg Blue, Beige, and White....

So These Fabulous Interiors are already on my
Colour Inspiration Board....
I think they go fabulously well with a French Theme....
What do you think...???
Am I on the right track??

There are so many ways to use this combination.....
That are all sooo gorgeous....

I also love how a touch of dark wood furniture works so well...
As I have a couple of pieces that it would be sacrilegious to paint....
And I will confess I find this palette so relaxing....

I just cant wait to find the right fabric now....
Yep.. That is where I usually start right after colour....

So I'm thinking Drapes, Pelmets, Slip Covers Cushions....
And I'm so looking forward to my new project...

So where did I find all of these
Wonderful Interior Images???
All at one of my Favourite Blogs

Thanks for popping in to say hello
I really appreciate your comments and thoughts
So let me know what you think so far....

I LOVE those colors together. I am also not much of a blue girl...and I still LOVE it! I also know what you mean about it being wrong to paint certain dark woods. I have several I don't dare touch so I have done the lighter carpet and walls and it looks perfect in my opinion.

Can't wait to see your finished room!

I love these colors. I've also been gravitating towards the cool soothing blue/gray color. I just found the perfect color at Sherwin Williams and will be painting my bedroom this weekend. I have several antique pieces that are dark color and just can't bring myself to change the original state. Can't wait to see the completion!

Hi Lou
Well this is probably my favourite colour palette.. as you know I am moving and I sacrificed the all white unit with sea views for a beigy beige villa.. seeing these gorgeous images makes me pine for the white walls.. but... I will somehow incorporate these colours I think,.

Great images.. can't wait to see what you do with your own room and decor!! xxx Julie ...

PS .. yes not long now.. but will be moving in middle of it... also.. there is a partial eclipse of the full moon tonight.. don't forget to watch it.. 9:31 pm.. this is your friendly moon reminder.. hahaha

xx Julie

Hi new sister! I am so happy to meet you and hope we become true sister friends in our sorority journey. I apologize up front that this message is a "cut and paste" message to all the sorority sisters because I wanted at least to become a follower of all of you and take a moment to say hello. For those who may not know my youngest son was killed last week and we buried him on Tuesday. I had started my project before that tragic event and am not finished but I did post what I've done on it so far. If you have visited me already I thank you and if not I invite you. I am just not quite at the point of being able to think of something to say individually at this time. I will soon hopefully be able to be active and visiting everyone. Love you already, Mollye

Hello Lou, I don't think I could post a comment without acknowledging the sad loss your friend Mollye is experiencing, so very sorry and hope that you and her sorority sisters will be a comfort in prayer.
Hope you are feeling a bit better and stronger, I have posted about the fantastic gifts you sent me - they were way too much and I am so amazed by your kindness. On your room scheme - how beautiful it is, would look good in any setting I should think - will be fun to see the end result. Love and healing thoughts, be well soon - Betty x
