French and Fabulous - Giveaway Details To Match

Today I just want to share some
Fabulous French Finds
That I just couldn't resist purchasing...
Not only are the French but Vintage too...:)

My biggest dilemma is what to show you first....:)

Now you know I just love all things feathered...
And when I found this stunning vintage figurine....
I was a totally smitten...

Then to my immense delight discovered there was a set of 3....
Well it just wouldn't be nice to split this gorgeous set would it???

So I had to buy all 3.....:)I just love them .....

Scrolling thru this Fabulous French Shop
I found more pieces that were just begging to make
Australia their new home...
Actually their new "Mum"... me....
Just couldn't resist them....
Like this WA Rogers Silver Stand and Darling Cloche....
Yes I have a thing for Cloche too.....

And this beautiful silver bowl....
Also by WA Rogers... So ornate and chic too...

This absolutely divine letter stand...
However I don't think I will use it for today's mail
.... as that is often just bills....:(
But instead use it for pretty vintage papers or ephemera
Or perhaps a cabinet card ???
What do you think???

And last but definitely not least.....
This Gorgeous French Hand Towel holder
Way too beautiful to resist....
I love those embroidered linen guest towels from days gone bye
I have never been quite sure how to display them... so I think this will be just perfect!

Now one of the best parts about finding this little french store is the
Gorgeous Owner is happy to look and find me extra little things I might be looking for......
Hmmmm I wonder how much it is to ship a whole container from France to Australia??? LOL!

So you are probably wondering what INSPIRED these purchases???
Apart from the fact they will be the start of a gorgeous vignette...

Well.... It was this image I found at Interior Design Blog
http://heidiclaire.blogspot.com/

I have the Wall.... and the Perfect Antique Table,
And even an old Footstool I picked up junking..
That is just waiting to be recovered.....
It wont be exactly like the image.. as it is a bit too cluttered for me...
But definitely Inspired By It.... :)

Add that to the Interior Renovation that is about to happen here...
Yep... a little bit French, a little bit Shabby.... a little Eclectic..
So I thought they would be perfect accessories......
It's the little things that that help make a renovation a home.....

By now you will know that I just love to share
Beautiful New Blogs  and
Gorgeous Giveaways I have found....
Today is no Exception...

I adore that bed in the last picture. Once I had a pair of twin beds like that and SOLD them at the antique mall. I sure wish I'd hung on to them instead!!

Hi Lou, thanks for your comment today - my email was only to say 'how are you'. shame you couldn't have some time off to completely get over your illness. I have been wearing your necklace a lot. It makes me feel calm, you can't wear a necklace with 'pray' written on it and not be on your best behaviour really can you! can you imagine what people would think of you if you lost your temper!!!
